I've used PSP9 for this tutorial, however you should be able to create this tag in all versions.
Supplies needed:
A tube of choice.
I’m using one by
Heather Martin
, which I received while she was at MPT.
I do not know where she is now selling, if she still is. Please do not use unless you have the appropriate license number and/or permission.
Font of choice.
I've used A&S Speedway.
Plugins:
Mura’s Meister – Copies
Simple – 4 Way Average
AAA Frames – Foto Frame
Eye Candy Impact – Gradient Glow (optional)
1. Open a new transparent image 600 x 250 pixels
2. Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.
3. Apply Mura Meister Copies with the following settings:
4. Adjust – Blur – Motion Blur settings at 45 degrees and 95%
5. Effects – Texture Effects – Mosaic Glass with the following settings:
6. Crop your tag to 600x250 pixels
7. Apply Simple – 4 Way Average
8. Apply AAA Frames – Foto Frame with the following settings:
9. Paste your tube as a new layer and move it to the right of your canvas.
Add a drop shadow of choice (I’ve used 2, 2, 80, 15).
10. Add a new raster layer. Selections – Select All. Selections – Modify – Contract by 5. Selections – Invert.
Floodfill with colour of choice (I’ve used black). Add a drop shadow of choice (I’ve used 2, 2, 58, 5 then -2, -2, 58,5)
11. Add your name, applying Gradient Glow if necessary. Add a drop shadow of choice.
12. Add copyright and license number (if necessary).
And you’re done
