Kiss Me
« on: April 21, 2012, 05:59:36 am »

I've used PSP9 for this tutorial, however you should be able to create this tag in all versions.

Supplies needed:
A tube of choice.  I’m using one by René Kunert.  This is a freebie from her store, but requires a special license number.
Please do not use without this license number.
Font of choice.  I've used Volutes.
Elements of choice.  I've used some from Fantasy Moments Scraps

Plugins:
Mura’s Meister – Copies
Andrew's Filters 30 - Difference Light Bulbs
AAA Frames - Foto Frame

1.  Open a new transparent image 852 x 315 pixels

2.  Copy and paste your tube as a new layer.  Apply Muras Meister Copies with the following settings:

Ensure your canvas is fully covered - if not, duplicate your layer and Image - Mirror.  Then Merge Visible.

3.  Adjust – Blur – Radial Blur on the following settings:

5.  Duplicate this layer and apply Andrew's Filters 30 - Difference Light Bulbs with the following settings:

Don't worry about the funky colours - we're about to fix that :)

6.  Change the blend mode of your Light Bulbs layer to Luminance (L) or one of your choice.

7.  Duplicate this layer.  Image - Mirror.  Image - Flip.  Lower the opacity to 60% (it should have carried over the blend mode change to this new layer).  Merge Visible.  Crop canvas to 852 x 315 pixels.

8.  Apply AAA Frames - Foto Frame with the following settings:

9.  Apply AAA Frames - Foto Frame again with these settings:

10.  Paste your tube and move it to the right of your canvas.  Apply a drop shadow of your choice.  Crop your canvas to size again.
Apply AAA Frames - Foto Frame to your tube using the first settings.

11.  Add a new raster layer.  Flood fill with black.
Selections - Select All.  Selections - Modify - Contract by 1.  Press Delete.  Selections - Select None.

12.  On the left-hand side of your canvas, add your elements or decorations of your choice.
Remember that your avatar will overlap your timeline cover slightly on the left-hand side
I've used a selection of elements from one of Fantasy Moments Scraps' kits.  Add any drop shadows you like.
To keep it within the inner frame, click on your frame layer, then go to Selections - Select All.  Selections - Modify - Contract by 31.  Selections Invert.
Then press delete on your elements or decorations layers.  Selections - Select None.

13.  Add your name in a font of your choice.  I also added a Gradient Glow and drop shadow.

14.  Add the copyright and any license numbers necessary.  Again, remember that your avatar overlaps the cover slightly, so make sure to place the copyright information at the top or right of the canvas.
And you're done :)

Here's a second example, where I've used another tube on the left-hand side.  This is using the art of Pete Tapang, when he was licensed through PSP Asylum (which is now closed)

There is an image you do not see. You could upload it again?
Thank you :)
